Since 1990, I have worked as a health technician attached to the management teams of the Primary Care Service of Mallorca. Linked to the Family and Community Medicine Teaching Unit and the Research Unit, I have contributed to promoting research among residents, tutors, and other medical and nursing professionals in projects covering various topics, mainly mental health and respiratory diseases. My personal line of research focuses on the early diagnosis of cancer, both through screening and early clinical diagnosis, as well as on studying the quality of life and service use among cancer survivors. I have participated in the development and implementation of the Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program of the Balearic Islands.

Member of the redIAPP (RETICS) since its creation within the GRASPP group of the Balearic Islands, and member of the consolidated group of the Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa).

Member of the Research Ethics Committee (CEI) of the Balearic Islands and Chair of the Primary Care Research Committee of Mallorca.
