Maria Antònia Fiol de Roque

I hold a degree in Biology (2009), a PhD in Neurosciences from the University of the Balearic Islands (2017), and a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from the Open University of Catalonia (2021). My research career has focused on the fields of biomedicine and health research. During my predoctoral stage, I worked on basic research aspects such as drug development and preclinical studies, and in my postdoctoral stage, I shifted to a more clinical perspective. Currently, I am engaged in research in the areas of health services, patient safety, telemedicine, and health promotion.
