Médica Técnica de la Oficina de Calidad del gabinete Técnico-Asistencial del Servei de Salut de les Illes Balears

Especialista en Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria (2000) y Doctora en Medicina y Cirugía por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB). Máster en Clínica Médica, máster en Nutrición y máster en Investigación en Atención Primaria por la UAB. Médico de familia del centro de salud de Calvià de la Gerencia de Atención Primaria de Mallorca (2003-2019).

Fui jefa de estudios de la Unidad Docente de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria de Mallorca (UDMFyC) (2009-2011), tutora de residentes de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria y presidenta de la Comisión Asesora de la UDMFyC de Mallorca, así como miembro de las comisiones de docencia y formación especializada de varios hospitales universitarios, así como revisora y vocal de la Comisión de Formación Continuada de la Dirección General de Acreditación y Evaluación de las Islas Baleares y de la Comisión de Investigación de la Gerencia de Atención Primaria de Mallorca. Soy miembro del Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de les Illes Balears.

He participado en la coordinación, diseño y evaluación de numerosos proyectos de investigación y en la codirección de trabajos de fin de máster y tesis doctorales en el ámbito de atención primaria de salud, especialmente en temas relacionados con factores de riesgo carciovascular y trastornos del sueño. La pandemia me ha ofrecido la oportunidad de investigar también sobre pruebas diagnósticas de detección de SARS-CoV-2.
